After
the comercial success of Saul David's movie : "Logan's
Run" produced by MGM in 1976, with in the mains roles : Michaël
York who play Logan, Jenny Agutter who play Jessica and Richard Jordan
who play Francis. Saul David
think dice the departure thought of a Trilogy which would adapt one
by one, the books of William F Nolan ( indeed Nolan had already written
2 books and wrote the 3e on Logan which was Logan' S Search
at the time and which come in 1980). So, William F. Nolan and
Saul David begin to work on the scenario of second movie, but in
1977 CBS decide
to buy the rights of Logan's Run for 9 millions
de dollards
(a good treasure at this time and MGM rub one's hands !) !!! But
CBS cancel immediatly
the movie format
for to made a tv serie. But, in departure, William F. Nolan and Saul
David must work on the tv serie : they write, and produce The Pilot
and after somes episods. But very quickly, CBS fall out
with Mr.Nolan and Saul David (on the freedom to write the scenarios
and to choice the actors) and they quit the job before to have finish
to write The Pilot. Fo to replace them, this is Ivan Goff & Ben
Roberts who are come same productors of the tv serie (They're the creators
of tv serie "Charlie's
Angels") - They are two perfects novices in the Sci-Fi -
and little time after, Leonard
Katzman joint them (producer of tv serie Dallas). They will appeal
has various scenarists of series of known SF of the time like very
talented DC Fontana for example !!! The first thing that Goff
and Roberts will make when had comes, it will be to them of rewrite
completely the pilot made by Nolan and Saul David (like adding
"the Council of Elders" for example) and add 30mn, so of original
time of 60mn, The pilot finish expand at 90mn. What will be broadcost
and that we saw on the Screens Tv is well far from what Nolan and
David
had made !!! And it will be the chart of these two producers: they
will rewrite systematicly all the scenarios, with a simplistic
basic idea : Logan and his friends comes somewhere, the local people
are in trouble and Logan with his friends help them and go in other
place (because Goff and Roberts thought that if that had gone
for the Tv serie "The Fugitive" one, it would go for Logan's Run).
Add to this,
that CBS who buyed the rights for a huge price, give a very low budget
for the episods (And the producers use the maximum of material
from the movie (props, costumes...) for economized some money),
and
will do anything bad for the broadcost of the Tv serie : change
of schedules,
change days of broadcost,
etc. For to finish, the Tv serie was be a big flop and stopped
at the 14th episod (13 episods+The Pilot), a 15th was beginned
but never finish (the name will be "ThunderGods"). In
US, at the first broadcost, the 3rd last episods of the Tv serie
not be broadcost !!! Luckily, on others broadcost they was be broadcosted
this time. In US, a flop is a flop and the Tv serie was never edited
in video support : Video-Tapes, LaserDisc ou DVD... Mr. Nolan say
it in the magazine called "Cinescape" : "Nobody
wanted to do a series. Not Saul, not me; only CBS.".
Composed of 13 episods of 52mn each, more the Pilot of 90mn, the Tv Serie is a flop in US and others countries, and it's was quickly forgotten. This big Flop was made by CBS and the producers Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts (the mens on the picture abore on right !) and not very much fans in US remember the Tv Serie. But in France, it's different, many many fans (like me) prefer the Tv Serie. In France we saw the Tv Serie for the first time in 1978 on a national channel called "Antenne 2" (at this time !) under the title : The Age of Crystal and apparently censured (somes scenes was cutted). After the Tv Serie was be broadcosted in 1999 on a satellite channel called "Serie-Club", and other satellite channel called "13eme Rue" in 2001. After, we saw again the Tv Serie broadcosted in 2003 on video-games Satellite channel called "Game-One", and now we waiting a new beautiful broadcosting on "13eme Rue" again !!! Logan 5 in original version, become Logan 23 in French, and Francis 7 become Francis 14. The Sandmen become "Sleuth" (same the dogs). This is Gregory Harrison who filling Michaël York's shoes in the character of Logan and he's the main character of this Tv Serie. He take the very great black costume of Sandman, The Tracker and the extraordinary DS Flamegun. Not very know in France (we can see him especially in Tv Series and Tv Movies) his career continue after Logan's Run and actually he's working always. This ex-champion of surf who become a actor, was played in the movie "Razorback" and Tv Serie "Falcon Crest". In 1994 we can saw him in "Mortal Fear" with Joanna Kern. For Jessica, this is the very beautiful Heather Menzies who replace Jenny Agutter (it's not the same woman's style !!!). She's very popular in France, we can saw her played in "Six Millions Dollards Man", "Bonanza", etc. We can saw her in many many movies, but they don't translated and distributed in France. Rem is only one great idea create by Goff and Robert. And this is the best actor Donald Moffat who played the character. Without him, we can say that the Tv serie will be a terrible faillure !!! In First, Rem must be called O.M.O but the producers was know that a European washing powder had the same name, so, they give him a other name. This is the actor of this Tv serie the more popular, we can saw him in many many movies : "The Thing" (of John Carpenter), The Tv Serie "Kojak", "Six Millions Dollards Man", "The Twilight Zone" and "Columbo" and others, and others... Randy Powell play Francis, it's a hard working after the very great allowance of Richard Jordon in the movie. Somes Fans fans in US says that without him, the Tv Serie was be tiresome and that he carry on his shoulders the episods where he played. But in fact, his actor's career was not very great, after Logan's Run we saw him in Tv Series "Dallas", "Hooker" and "Canon" but for little roles. After, during a moment, he was be a professor in a University, and recently apparently he trying again to take back his career with the name of Randolph Powell... 1)
Logan's Run (Pilot of tv serie) : The time of Carousel is come, and all the people who have 30 years old must to do the ceremony. LOGAN the Sandman, watch it with his best friend : FRANCIS. But somes questions and doubts comes in the mind of Logan : Why some people want avoid the Carousel, why they escape them of The City of Domes ? But a alert come on his Tracker, Logan go to the pursuit of the runner, nearly follow by FRANCIS. Logan catch the runner, and when he will to shoot him, JESSICA appear. she's convince LOGAN that the Carousel is a murder, and that is possible to live outside of The City of Domes and in peace in SANCTUARY. So LOGAN decide to come a runner too and knock down FRANCIS. LOGAN come the first and only one Sandman-Runner and escape him outside of The City of domes with JESSICA for to searching the SANCTUARY. After somes adventures, in a City of mountain, they meet REM the androïd who decide to come with them in their searchs of SANCTUARY. So, a thrilling travel begin... Big likeness with the movie for the scene of Carousel in the 3rd minutes when the Pilot begin, it's just this ! After, it's not the sames actors, not sames the specials effects for the deaths of Carousel, "Goodbye !" the lifeclocks of the citizens of the City of Domes (How the Sandmen locate the runners ?). And the personality of LOGAN was changed... And the history is in 2319 and our friends have a Sun'Car !!!

THE COLLECTORS : The Sun's car of our friends : Logan, Jessica and Rem is out of order. REM repair the car, but it's very long. So Logan and Jessica go to search some water, they find a oasis and a beautiful woman-Runner come and tell them that they are in the Sanctuary. So they meet, after it, the protector who's manager of the Sanctuary. Very Quickly, Logan know that it's not the Sanctuary and somes strange events comes. REM join Jessica and Logan and we know the truth : this is somes Aliens come on the Earth for to sample two specimens of the humans : Logan and Jessica. But with the Help of REM and the others specimens prisoners, Jessica and Logan are free and return on the way of the Sanctuary, the real Sanctuary this time !!!

CAPTURE : Our Friends rest near a lake when REM, JESSICA and LOGAN are suprised by FRANCIS. FRANCIS immobilize LOGAN with his gun and a other Sandman comes : BENJAMIN. FRANCIS take LOGAN and JESSICA in the car and they go on the way of the City Of Domes. So BENJAMIN must kill REM, but the ingenious REM find a sham and take the Flamegun of BENJAMIN. REM go to rescue of his friends JESSICA and LOGAN. On the Way of The City of Domes, FRANCIS, LOGAN and JESSICA stop for the night, LOGAN try to escape at FRANCIS, but FRANCIS is more strong that LOGAN. So they make a fire, but in the night JESSICA is kidnaped by someone. So in the Morning FRANCIS and LOGAN and go to rescue of JESSICA. On the way they meet a strange man : Borden. This is a hunter, but a human's hunter !!! And he have a new chase : FRANCIS and LOGAN. So our two Sandmens don't have the choice, they must to do team up together. Same when they was friends in the City of Domes. After several tests, through a stratagem LOGAN and FRANCIS kill BORDEN. Until this moment, REM free JESSICA and join FRANCIS and LOGAN. With the Help of REM, FRANCIS free our three friends. REM, JESSICA and LOGAN return to search the Sanctuary with FRANCIS who will near follow them again.

THE INNOCENT : REM, JESSICA and LOGAN are always pursue by the Sandmen. At now the Sandmen have a car too !!! When a Sandmen's car go to stop our Friends, LOGAN arrive to escape them. And after, REM, LOGAN and JESSICA find a pill-box protect by a field of mines. But with the Help of REM and the Flamegun of LOGAN pass the field of mines and REM open the field of energize. The Sandmen are stopped by the field of mine and move back. But FRANCIS want absolutly bring back LOGAN and JESSICA at the City of Domes. So Francis ask at the Sandmen to bring back a laser gun for to destroy the field of energize. In the pill-box, our friends find a total automatic complex with two robots. But he have a young girl too in this complex. This young girl fall in love of Logan and she have a mysterious power, so she eliminate the Sandmens and the laser-gun. But she eliminate REM and JESSICA too. She want that LOGAN fall in love of her. When Logan refuse, she's abandon to the Sandmen our friend Logan. But Logan succeed to reason the young girl and she release Logan of the Sandmen. And she's do come back REM and JESSICA. Our friends can to go search again the Sanctuary. The Young Girl must to stay in the complex for all his life.

MAN OUT THE TIME : Always At the search to the Sanctuary, Logan Rem and Jessica detect on the radar a source of energize. On the place a strange capsule with a rabbit in a cage. Logan lay down his flamegun on the cage, when the strange capsule disappear with the gun of Logan. After it, the strange capsule come back with a man inside, this man give back the Flamegun at logan, our friends talk with the man when he receive a paralyze bullet. This is the Sandmen. Logan run for to take the Sandmen from the rear, Logan paralyze the Sandmen too. And our friend go on the way. The man search the sanctuary too and say at Logan and Jessica that he know where is the Sanctuary. But his Sanctuary is different of the Sanctuary from Logan and Jessica. This Man come from the Past and try to change the futur for to save some millions people before the nuclear War. The Sanctuary is his project : somes computers who had all the informations on the Nuclear War. With this informations, this man can to change the past. Logan hesitate to help this man because if the nuclear War is avoid, so Logan Rem and Jessica will don't exist. But finally after the explain of Rem, our friends help the Man. And he return in the past. Logan, Rem and Jessica wait a moment, and the capsule come back again. A computer is inside. Rem, Logan and Jessica look the message of the man of the past, and they know that is him that to release the Nuclear War with his time machine. Our friends go again on the search of the Sanctuary.

HALF LIFE : Always on the way of the Sanctuary, our friends are attaked by some people. But luckily somes riders come helps them. After it, the riders say at Logan, Rem and Jessica to comes at her city for to heat and rest them. A rider ask to Logan if they doing the "process". REM answer "YES !" instead of Logan. Rem say at Logan that they must to say YES for the question of the process, because something is not clear in this people. In the city for to heat, Logan Rem and Jessica are surprise, because this is exactly the same people who had attack them !!! Logan ask somes questions himself. The process divide the persons on two sides : the good side and the the Bad Side. The persons who have the bad side must to live in out of the city same somes animals. The master of the city understand that our friend don't have doing the process and the first victim is Jessica. This is the turn of Logan and Rem to do the Process. But thanks to REM, Logan and Rem arrive to escape them of the City and find the people who are the "bad" side. Logan offer at the people who have the bad side to find the good side and to be just a one person. Logan, Rem and the bad people comes at the City, a woman help them for the Jessica to be just one person. This woman to experience the effects of the process, but the process don't have a success with her. The master of the city say it, but he love her and he keep the secret. After Jessica is just one person, this woman want to do again the process, and she die. The Master of the City decide that all the people must to be just one person and to destroy the machine after it. Our friends go to seach again the Sanctuary...

THE CRYPT : Logan, REM and Jessica arrive in old city disused. A signal on a house warn our friend. They're going inside... Logan see a electric eye and use his Flamegun for to start it. On a screen, a scientific from the 20th century say that a virus had contamined the people, but they find the antidote. And for the human survive, they had freezed six persons who are the best of the humanity and if someone find them. So Logan take the antidote (in 2 phials, 1 phial for three persons), REM repair the elevator and they go in the undeground complex. But a earthquake to stun Logan and a collapse break one of the two phials of the antitode. Logan is alive, REM and Jessica too but Jessica is hurt at the leg, so REM carry her in the other room. The earthquake had to start the process for to wake up the six scientifics freezed. When Logan, Rem and Jessica arrive in this room, the six person wake up completly !!! Rem and Logan explain the situation at the six scientifics : just three person will can be save !!! Logan say that they must to choice the three persons who's will to survive, but the 6 scientifics prefer that it's Logan and Jessica to choice the persons who's will survive. So Logan and Jessica trying to speak with the six person for know them and to decide the 3 best persons who are will survive. But one after one the scientifics are killed. A killer or rather a impostor is among the six scientifics. REM find the impostor and she escape with the antidote, but Logan catch her and recover the antitode, Logan Rem and Jessica go on their way and leave the survivors to decide that they doing with the killer. They freeze again th is person. Logan, Rem and Jessica go search again the Sanctuary.

FEAR FACTOR : Our friends to detect a house on the radar of their car. When they arrive in the beautiful garden of this house, they find a woman who had fear. A man come to join logan Rem and Jessica and take the woman for to inside the house. The man say at Logan, REM and Jessica to go with him in the house. In the house, our friends meet the doctor Rowan. This house is a asylum where the doctor Rowan do somes experiences on the brain. Jessica want to talk at doctor Rowan for to know more things on the woman that they find. Rowan capture Jessica and lock up Rem and Logan in a room. But Rem can to modify the video-surveillance and see where Jessica is hold. Logan and REM go to see Rowan and tell him to take them in the room where Jessica is hold. But it's a trap, and Logan & REM fall in this trap !!! Logan and REM do somes tests for survive, but a gaz send to sleep Logan and REM. Rowan say at Logan that he want to do a army of man without fear. And that Logan is had not fear must to be the chief of this army. If Logan say no, Jessica will be a vegetable. REM escape himself at this moment and capture Rowan. With Logan and the rightman of Rowan they going to release Jessica. Logan destroy the computers of Rowan and Rem release Jessica. Rowan die, his rightman take the control of the asylum and the peace come in this house. Logan, Rem and Jessica go in search of sanctuary.

THE JUDAS GOAT : A new runner try to escape of the City of Domes : HAL 14. But a Sandman follow him and terminate him before he can open the door that Logan and Jessica had take some months ago. The City of domes ask to the Sandman Joseph 8 to take HAL 14 and go to the Transformational Room. The doctor modify the face of Joseph 8 who's become now HAL 14. This false HAL 14 join Logan, Rem and Jessica on the their way outside of the City of Domes. the False HAL 14 pretend to do to fear and escape when he see Logan. Logan catch him and our friends take him with us in the car. the false HAL 14 explain at logan, Jessica and REM that in the City of Domes, the citizens are more large everyday to rebel them. More later, they're captured by some people and Logan must to give them his Flamegun. They meet the first runner of the City of Domes : MATTHEW 12. He want to kill Logan when he see is Sandman's uniform. But Jessica and the false HAL 14 say at MATTHEW 12 that Logan is a runner. Jessica ask MATTHEW to comes with them at the City of Domes for to liberate the citizens of the Carousel. But MATTHEW 12 don't want to come with them, and to take our friends prisoner. Because MATTHEW 12 don't want that the Sandmen find him. But the False HAL 14 success to persuade MATTHEW 12 to liberate them, if REM repear his computers who are to protect him. REM accept and Logan, Jessica and the false HAL 14 return at the car. Meanwhile MATTHEW say at a other computer to kill Jessica, Logan and the false HAL 14, but REM discover that the MATTHEW 12 want doing and is return the electric choc at MATTHEW 12 Logan, Jessica and the false HAL 14 return in the complex. MATTHEW is die, but REM is alive, Logan ask to REM if he can to program the computers for to do independent the people. Our friends return at the city of Domes with the false HAL 14, Logan is more to be suspicious at HAL 14. And when they arrive to the exit where HAL 14 is go outside of the City of Domes, Logan know that is a false runner : because they take this exit somes months ago and FRANCIS must be to watch this way. The false HAL 14 run, Logan follow him when two sandmen comes in a car and when they see Logan and the false HAL 14, they think that a Sandman follow a runner and they kill the false HAL 14. Logan paralyze the two Sandmen and our friends go on the way for to find the Sanctuary.

FUTURE PAST : FRANCIS and other Sandmen follow always Jessica, Logan and REM. When the car with two Sandmen will go to catch them, Logan to do a trap for the two Sandmen and paralyze them !!! They go more far on the way, when they find a old observatory. They meet a beautiful android-woman who's to offer at Logan and Jessica to rest them. But this observatory is a center of dreams's analyze, and the analyze of the dreams of Logan and Jessica begin. The flash-back comes. Meanwhile FRANCIS and a other Sandman : CLAY follow the way of Logan. REM and the android woman find a answer for to wake up Logan and Jessica, because the dream can to kill Jessica and Logan. When Jessica and Logan wake up, FRANCIS come in the observatory and with his flamegun destroy the android-woman. When Logan, Rem and Jessica will to escape, FRANCIS and the Sandman catch them. With REM, Logan do a trap and do to sleep the Sandman and take the Flamegun of FRANCIS and Logan paralyze him. Our Friends go to the way of sanctuary, REM repear the android-woman who's fall in love of REM...

CAROUSEL : Our Three friends are always follow by FRANCIS who's going to catch them. When they arrive to shake off FRANCIS, the sun's car has broken down in the forest. They decide to continue in feet to hide in the forest for to escape at FRANCIS. But suddenly, two persons hide in the forest attack LOGAN. He's struck by a mysterious dart which puts to sleep him, and Rem, JESSICA are transported somewhere other that the forest. Rem and JESSICA gets acquainted of a strange person named DARREN who teaches them that they are on their domain and the dart received by LOGAN have made lose the memory at Logan from the year which has just passed : DARREN see that Logan is armed, he believed that Logan was an enemy and this dart is only means of defence. LOGAN wake up and go to the car. He's found by FRANCIS and a other Sandman, Logan who's lost the memory, think that FRANCIS is again his best friend and he live again at the City of Domes. He don't understand why he's outside of the City of Domes. Logan don't remember of REM and Jessica. FRANCIS is obsessed by his friendship with LOGAN and they returned at the City of Domes and to be Sandman again. Meanwhile Jessica and REM explain to DARREN that if lost the memory, their live are threaten, because the Sandmen pursue them. And REM say that he can't to lost the memory, because he's a android. DARREN fascinated by REM go to see his seniors and allow at REM and Jessica to go without the memory erased. DARREN say at Jessica and REM that Logan is going with FRANCIS. At the City of Domes, Logan suffer interrogation : he's a Sandman again !!! FRANCIS pleads in favour of LOGAN and asks that he is only rehabilitated and that he does not undergo Carousel!!! But the council have already foreseen LOGAN's death. During this time, JESSICA and Rem manages to infiltrate into The City of Domes and find again his friend, they try to make find the memory to LOGAN. Jessica become JERRY and go to see Logan : Logan don't remember of her. So the friend of Jessica say that they must to capture Logan during the time that he find again the memory. Logan's feel more so more bad, and just before to go at the Carousel, he find again his memory. Jessica and his friends save Logan. Logan thanks to JESSICA and Rem, and escape at the City of Domes again. FRANCIS again disappointed by this act will have respite to pursue Logan. The Running continues...

NIGHT VISITORS (Ombres dans la Nuit) : Our Three friends driving in the night, it's raining. When they will missing power for the car, Jessica see two shadows on the road, but Logan and REM don't have see something. But Logan go to see outside of the car, but he see nothing. When Logan restart the car and go Jessica and this time REM see again two persons on the road. Some late our friend arrive at one old house. They decide to enter in this house for rest them, they call for to see if he had someone in this house : Nobody answer. Logan made a fire with his flamegun. When a man come follow a short time after by a woman. This man say at Logan that they can stay here for the night and they made something to eat for them, but the woman is strange, she's waiting someone since a long time, this man is named : GAVIN. When Logan and Jessica eating, the woman talk with the man of GAVIN. They quarrel them. Logan want to go, for to leave them quiet, but at this moment someone strike at the door of the house. The woman say that this is GAVIN's return. And when she open the door, GAVIN is here, near of the fireplace. So Logan, Jessica and REM are go... But GAVIN say at Logan that the energize's car is completly empty and that they can to stay one night in this house. Logan and REM go in the car for to take somes clothes, Logan is very surprise, because when they arrive at the house, he rest somes energize in the car. REM and Logan ask themself, and return at the house. Logan, Rem and Jessica are going in their room, but GAVIN ask a strange question, and somes strange somethings beginning : Logan after to had to leave Jessica alone in his room and go in his room too, he find a key and when he take this key, he see somes stranges things with GAVIN in the mirror of his room. Logan go to see REM, meanwhile Jessica is persecuted by GAVIN and finally she's meeting in a cave. Jessica's come in the place of the ceremony that Logan had to see in the mirror. And here, GAVIN and his two stoogies waiting Jessica in front of coffin. Meanwhile, Logan see that Jessica had disappear, with REM they find the cave go to rescue Jessica. Meanwhile Jessica is the victim of the ceremony for to bring back at the live the woman of GAVIN. When the woman of GAVIN will to wakeup her, Logan and REM comes (after they avoid the traps of GAVIN and his friends !) to rescue Jessica. REM say at Logan to shoot the coffin, when Logan shoot the coffin, all disappear : GAVIN and his friends, the coffin of course and all things of the ceremony. Our friends can to go outside where a beautiful sun is here, but our friends don't see that of one window of the house, something look them to go at the way of the Sanctuary again...

TURNABOUT : Logan, Rem and Jessica driving in the desert when our friends see a person unconscious in the distance on their way. Our friends stop and go to rescue at this person. They give some water, this is a woman with the face veiled. When she wakeup, this woman is terrifyed and say at Logan, Jessica and REM to continue their way and they must don't stay here. And she go quickly... When our friends will to go at the car, somes troopers comes. Quickly the troopers take the Flamegun of Logan and made REM, Logan and Jessica prisoner. They are onZeedor and the runner are kill !!! But FRANCIS come with a other Sandman. All people go to Zeedor. At Zeedor, the chairman to sentence to death our friends. Meanwhile when they will kill, our friends are prisoneer in a cell. But Francis want absolutly to fulfil his mission and to bring back Logan and Jessica alive at the City of Domes, Francis decide to rescue Logan, Rem and Jessica. But before Francis have made something, the woman that Logan had rescue in the desert, come to free our friends and they go. But Francis intercept Logan and Jessica and go with them in the desert... REM see to late that Logan and Jessica had disappear... So The women of Zeedor hide REM. In the desert Logan, Jessica and Francis find some water, but after it the troopers of Zeedor joint them and the war begining... Logan and Jessica escape to Francis and go out of the limit of Zeedor and joint the car. Meanwhile REM trying to convince the first secretary of Zeedor to help our friends. He say at REM that he trying to made something, when the troopers return at Zeedor with Francis, a terrific fight beetwen Francis and the captain of the troopers of Zeedor begin... Francis lose and he's prisoner of Zeedor, after it, the first secretary of Zeedor say at the chairman that he will to call together the council of Zeedor. Meanwhile Logan return at Zeedor and find REM, they go to free Francis, but the captain of Zeedor comes and he want to kill Logan, but Logan avoid his attack and the captain of Zeedor to electrocute himself on the energize of the cell of Francis. The council had dismiss the chairman and the first secretary is now the chairman. Our friends are free, the women of Zeedor are don't have now the face veiled, and to free Francis 2 ou 3 days after the start of Logan, REM and Jessica. Our friends go on their way again...

STARGATE : In their car, our friends see on their way on the left side a strange man in a strange costume... Our friends stop and they rescue this man. The Aliens take Logan, Jessica and TIMON in a marsh where he had somes monsters... Meanwhile, REM made a appliance for to destroy the teletransport. The Aliens say at REM that Logan and Jessica are Die. But Logan, Jessica and TIMON escape of the marsh Alive !!! They are a advantage on the Aliens : the Aliens believe that they are died. And they join REM. With some nitrogen liquid, Jessica and TIMON stun the Alien with the cold. After it, Logan and REM go to the main room and with the appliance of REM they destroy the Stargate !!! TIMON stay alone and our friends go on the search of the sanctuary...
